An erih+ for the future

ERIH PLUS is now erih+.

The rebranding is part of a broader effort to ensure that the index meets the current and future needs of the sector. The new user interface marks the beginning of extensive work to move the entire erih+ platform to a more effective and intuitive service for users.

The new erih+ is not only about technology and platform renewal, our mission has also been updated to reflect the realities of the digital age.

New Criterias for journals

Our updated Criteria for Inclusion are designed to ensure transparency and best practices for journals. They have been carefully evaluated and reviewed by our National Experts and Advisory Group, and we believe they will be relevant to a wide range of European journals.

The Criteria are built on the Principles of Transparency and best Practice for sccholarly publications. These criteria are identified by a variety of organisatisations in a joint effort.

New Roadmap

To remain a vital research infrastructure, erih+ is building a roadmap that ensures we prioritise according to the needs of the sector. Building erih+ into a truly relevant service depends on our networks, who are important partners and advisers guiding us in the right direction.

erih+ continues to be a journal index for the Social Sciences and Humanities, with a focus on quality european journals, whether large and influential or small and community-driven. At the same time, we pay particular attention to supporting smaller scholar-led journals, helping them increase their visibility and reach, as we believe they contribute to the diversity of the publishing landscape and the progress of research.

As a platform, we are also attentive to the broader needs of the sector. Multilingualism, support for open science, and the provision of high-quality contextual information about journals are key areas of focus.

Finally, we believe that the erih+ article search will play a more vital role in the future. Strengthening and improving this service is an important part of our roadmap, making it more robust and more relevant.

We hope you will enjoy the new erih+.
