Journals are thoroughly evaluated based on the erih+ criteria. The minimum criteria must be fulfilled for the journal to be further evaluated. 

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

It takes approximately 15 minutes to fill out the form.

Most of the fields are required. Fields that are optional are marked with: (Optional).

If a journal is rejected upon evaluation it will be restricted from applying again for a minimum of two years.

All submissions are guaranteed a response regardless of the outcome of the evaluation. The processing time for new submissions is currently about three months. In some cases the processing time may be longer, for instance if the submission is sent to one of our external advisors.

Be advised that we have been experiencing some issues lately with our Article Search hosted by Dimensions. Due to this, the search might not be updated. We are working on a more reliable solution for this service. 

The status of DOAJ- and Sherpea Romeo-indexation is automatically updated every night. If the listing does not show the correct status at the time of indexation, we recommend you to wait a day before contacting us.

All submissions are guaranteed a response regardless of the outcome of the evaluation process. The submission will be evaluated by the erih+ team in due time. The waiting time for new submissions to be processed is currently about 7 months.
