OPERAS Norway
OPERAS is the Research Infrastructure (RI) dedicated to supporting open scholarly communication in SSH within the European Research Area. Its mission is to coordinate and integrate European resources to address the needs of researchers. This is the website of the Norwegian OPERAS node.

OPERAS Norway members
Currently there are two institutions in the Norwegian node nettwork. UiT The Arctic University of Norway and erih+.
OPERAS-NO is one of 13 National Nodes connecting European initiatives with local research communities and ensuring that national needs and perspectives are taken into account in international developments.
OPERAS-NO supports coordination, knowledge exchange, and participation across borders, with a particular focus on open scholarly communication and non-commercial publishing models. The node encourages collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including universities, research infrastructures, libraries, scholarly publishers, and research communities in the social sciences and humanities.
OPERAS-NO is embedded in a broader landscape of policies and initiatives related to open science, research infrastructures, and sustainable scholarly publishing. The node supports the development of Diamond Open Access and other community-led publishing models, and contributes to European coordination from a Norwegian SSH perspective.
